“Look, I’m not an intellectual – I just take pictures.” Helmut Newton

I like pictures of landscapes, architecture, art, and urban atmospheres. But what is the main idea behind it? As a musician and photographer, my motto could be “Capture good moments.” Please check out my photo gallery. Can you feel the vibe?

Why the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2?

Smartphone cameras are good for today’s selfie culture but they are limited in every way. As a budding photographer, I was looking for a “real” camera some years ago and found one: The Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 combines ultra-sharp still photos with fluid, detailed HD video capabilities. You no longer need a separate device for photos and videos. As a relatively small and lightweight interchangeable lens camera it is fully compliant with the Micro Four Thirds System standard. Concerning this the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2 is no Digital Single-Lens Reflex camera (DSLR). This implies pros and cons. Surely, Nikon, Canon, Panasonic, etc. offer better solutions these days but I’m still very happy with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-GH2. The more I use it, the more I like it.
